Here Is The Most Remote, Isolated Spot In Southern California And It’s Positively Breathtaking
Southern California has no shortage of breathtaking places, especially along the coast. Most of our most beautiful spots are often pretty crowded with others who also visit to soak in the atmosphere. Sometimes, the best places are much more remote and isolated. Santa Rosa Island is an isolated gem that’s definitely worth visiting. Check out Island Packers website for information about how to get there.
Located 40 nautical miles from the coast, Santa Rosa Island is truly remote. It's part of the Channel Islands National Park.
There are no services on Santa Rosa Island. It can be cold and windy, so make sure to dress appropriately and take a jacket. Bring along some snacks and water.
