The Nature-Themed Playground In Southern California That’s Oh-So Special
When you live in the city, a beautiful park is a great place to get away for a bit and enjoy nature. If you have little ones, that park better have a playground in it, right? Well, there are plenty of those in the Golden State’s towns and cities, but a few of them are truly unique. This cool playground in Southern California is definitely one of a kind and has a nature theme that is fun for kids of all ages.
The fun nature-themed playground is part of the gorgeous Vista Hermosa Natural Park in the heart of Los Angeles.
Parents will find the children's playground in this area is full of large natural rocks, great for kids to climb and scramble over without being too far off the ground.
The area is beautifully landscaped and has many trees and benches for parents to sit nearby and watch kids play.
This giant turtle seems to emerge from the rocks. The shapes in his shell, head, and arms are designed for even young children to safely climb, sit, play, and slide.
Everything in the playground is designed to be a gentle part of the natural landscape.
A giant snake slithers through a large section of the playground. Kids love to scramble over and slide off of the long sections that rise from the ground.
