Although Southern California isn’t exactly known as a place with lots of traditions, we definitely have some strong opinions when it comes to food. If there's one dish that every true Southern Californian knows and loves, it's the fish taco. Served both grilled and fried, this is one SoCal classic that is always at the top of the list.

If you grew up in SoCal, it's quite likely you had a sophisticated palate at a very early age. For example, a piping hot bowl of Pho is likely one dish every Southern Californian tried and quickly fell in love with when they were growing up.
If you grew up in SoCal, devouring a plate of sushi was most likely as common as eating a cheeseburger. And when it comes to everyone's favorite sushi roll, there's no question that the California roll is at the top of the list.
There are plenty of excellent places to score a pastrami sandwich, but here in SoCal there's nothing quite like the sandwich at Langer's Deli. If you grew up here, there's no question you've experienced the pastrami at Langer's at least once in your life.
