One of our favorite ways to do that is by heading to this little slice of paradise tucked inside small-town Southern California. Now that fall is officially here, there's nothing quite like taking a leisurely Sunday drive to enjoy the fall leaves and make a stop at one of SoCal's most delightful apple orchards.
Tucked inside the charming town of Oak Glen you'll find a variety of apple orchards to visit. Today, however, we're going to take you to one of our favorites — Stone Soup Farm and Heritage Orchard.
Stone Soup Farm and Heritage Orchard is a small three-acre family owned farm located at 12131 S. Oak Glen Rd., Oak Glen, CA 92399.
With the U-pick apple season right around the corner (the first weekend of October to be exact) this is the time to start planning your day to the orchard.
Although there's no entrance fee to visit Stone Soup Farm and Heritage Apple Orchard, the price of apples is $3.25 per pound.

In addition to apple picking, you'll find a variety of fun activities to enjoy during your visit. One of our favorite things to do here is to stop at the cider mill and make fresh cider straight from the apples plucked right off the tree.
You'll also find a charming store located on the farm that's fun to browse. It's also a great spot to find that perfect item to take home to commemorate your day at this charming farm and apple orchard.
