If there’s a good weather day up ahead, you might as well plan for a trip out to somewhere beautiful.
Welcome to a source of beauty, the Diamond Valley Lake North Hills Trail and surrounding area. Though it's a human-made reservoir like many California lakes, the beauty here is just as sweet as any natural occurrence.
The beautiful 4,500-acre lake has 26 miles of shoreline, a small piece of which is included on this 5.9-mile hike. The trail is open year-round - beauty comes in any season here.
In addition to this beautiful trail, the lake is a great area for fishing. While recreational swimming, boating, and skiing are not allowed, the surface of this lake stays calm and perfect for reeling them in.
