Sweetest Road Trip in SoCal

April 16, 2021

What are the most popular chocolate shops in SoCal?

We bet you didn’t know that Southern California has so many options when it comes to chocolate shops! Well, we do, and we must do something about it (and that “something” definitely just means “visiting them all”). Some of the highest-rated chocolatiers in SoCal, according to Google, include such legendary gems as Luisa Chocolatiere, in Laguna Hills (heavenly), Schmid’s of San Clemente Fine Chocolate in San Clemente (unmatched), and Delon Chocolatier, in Burbank (incredible). Of course, there are plenty more – but those are the top three most highly rated at the time of this writing. Sounds to us like a few trips are in order.

What are the highest-rated candy shops in SoCal?

Other than chocolate shops, which we just covered, there are some stellar candy-oriented shops throughout Southern California that definitely deserve a nod, too. For instance, AusSam Candy, in Granada Hills, is a local legend that’s been around for 25 years and counting. There’s also Lolli and Pops in Canoga Park, which is just as outstanding as its name, and Candy4Less in Whittier has a selection that might make it impossible to leave. It’s pretty easy to see why these three candy shops appear to be SoCal’s favorites!

What kind of road trip in SoCal should I take?

An easier question to answer might be what kind of road trips can’t you take in SoCal because the options are almost endless. If you like sweets, try one of our epic SoCal candy road trips. If castles are your thing, we’ve got a road trip for that, too. Hoping for something a little more scenic? That’s cool, we’ve got you covered. Seriously, your options are only as limited as your imagination on this one. No matter what you’re into, there’s definitely going to be a SoCal road trip just for that.
