Welcome to the exciting Rush Mountain Adventure Park, which is billed as being a "Mountain of Family Fun!"

Started in 1927, Rush Mountain Adventure Park has grown tremendously over the years, beginning with popular cave tours and slowly transforming into the iconic amusement park that people know and love today.

One of the most exciting and thrilling of amusement park attractions is the Soaring Eagle Zipride, which invites you to "soar like an eagle" while freefalling 630 feet down the side of the mountain.

After descending down the hill, get ready to travel back up the mountain on your side-by-side seat, which allows you to share the experience with a friend.

Unlike other zip lines, you will not be dangling from a harness on the Soaring Eagle Zipride, but rather sitting in a secured seat that allows for passengers 42 inches and up.

In addition to the Zipride, Rush Mountain offers several other exciting rides and experiences, including the original Rushmore Cave, Gunslinger 7-D ride, and Mountain Coaster (pictured).

All-day passes to the Rush Mountain Adventure Park start at $25 per person, with individual ride tickets beginning at $12.

As of this publication, Rush Mountain Adventure Park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
