You’ll Love The Sandwiches At This Quirky Little South Dakota Shop
South Dakota has plenty of great places to find a delicious sandwich, but we can guarantee that you won’t find one quite as quirky as this. Check out Whiffer’s Sandwiches!

Whiffer had quite a life before she opened her sandwich shop. She's a former Mrs. South Dakota, has a Master's degree, and worked for years as a teacher.

It's cozy, with mismatched furniture and tons of photos and memorabilia on the walls. There aren't any vinyl-covered booths or fast food logos here. Just a homey atmosphere and tasty sandwiches.

You won't find a fancy menu board or ordering system. You'll basically give your order to Whiffer, who writes it down on a piece of paper.

A whole sandwich is as big as the plate it's served on, and all the sandwiches are absolutely stuffed with fillings.

A whole sandwich ranges in price from $6.95 to $7.95, and it can easily feed two people. You can order a half sandwich or a mini sandwich for a smaller portion, too.

Whiffer has a collection of pigs throughout the sandwich shop.

Whiffer hasn't purchased a single pig. Someone gave her a pig years ago, and she put it in the shop. Others started bringing her pigs, and now she has quite the collection.

You can visit Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Closed Saturday and Sunday. It's located at 1133 North Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls.
