The Meridian Corner may be in the middle of nowhere, but this family restaurant serves food that you’ll never forget. Come here for hand-pattied burgers, Indian tacos, and excellent chislic.

Craft Fusion prides itself on only using the city’s homegrown ingredients to prepare hand-crafted, delightful dishes. Everything on their menu is sensational, but their creamy buffalo chicken pasta with chicken breast and fresh vegetables is my first recommendation. 610 Medary Ave.


Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, supper or fresh homemade baked goods you want, Patty’s Place will satisfy your cravings. Be sure to try their pulled pork BBQ or fish tacos if you’re looking for a hearty meal. 1405 5th Ave.


You’ll feel right at home in this cozy, little family restaurant. For 50 years they are been serving up your favorite home cooked feels with only the freshest ingredients. If you’re a pie lover, you will go crazy trying to choose just one kind to try. Their selection is truly impressive! 404 10th St NW

You will never have a bad meal at Paul’s Place. Their menu is extensive, but their breaded chicken breast served with mashed potatoes is my personal favorite. Come here for amazing home cooked food and enjoy lovely piano music provided by Paul himself.

Whimp’s has been serving delicious hand-cut steaks, boasted chicken, burgers and more since 1958. This restaurant may look dated, but don’t judge it by its exterior; their food is exceptional.
