It’s no secret that South Dakota is a gorgeous state. From our mountains to our woods, we’ve got so much nature to enjoy and it’s seemingly endless. If you’re planning a staycation or vacation in South Dakota and looking for a place to sleep with great views, look no further. The beautiful Squirrel Hill Cabin in Black Hawk, just outside of Rapid City, is absolutely incredible. This is the perfect spot to stay if you want to unplug and admire the beauty that surrounds us in the Mount Rushmore State.

With five beds (four queens, one king), there's plenty of sleeping space for everyone.

There's wi-fi, tons of games, and a smart TV inside, but honestly, we're not sure why you'd want to spend too much time indoors.

This game room is pretty cool, though. It was originally a garage and now has a dartboard, Foosball table, and air hockey table.
The outside is an absolutely magnificent area and you'll have a great view of the magical South Dakota woods.

You've even got a three-person hot tub outside to admire the amazing Ponderosa pines that surround the property.

The living room is amazing. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow you a front-row seat to the outdoors. Can't you just imagine cozying up on the couch and watching the wildlife outside?

There's an automatic feeder that spreads corn outside, so you're likely to see deer and wild turkeys.
Grill up some burgers on the gas grill and sit out and have a drink around the propane-fueled fire pit as the evening winds down to a close.
