Wild Bill was murdered in Deadwood while playing poker in Nuttal & Mann's Saloon on August 2, 1876. There are two places to visit: Wild Bill's Bar at 624 Main Street, which was built right on the spot where the murder occurred, and Saloon No. 10 at 657 Main Street (pictured here). Saloon No. 10 is not the actual location of the murder, but it's basically a museum full of memorabilia, including the chair that Hickok was sitting in when he was shot.

LaFramboise Island is located near Pierre, and the hiking trails are said to be haunted. The creepiest haunting is that of a little boy who appears to be lost. He leads you deep into the forest, then disappears.
