Starting back in November and continuing on December 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 26th, and 27th, 2020, the Holiday Express is a one-hour, round-trip journey that is guaranteed to delight the entire family.
Running from Hill City to Keystone via the 1880 Train, the Holiday Express will make you think you have left the Mount Rushmore State for the North Pole, thanks to the festive decor, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, and storytime.
What is a Christmas train without a visit from the big guy? That's right: Your ride aboard the Holiday Express will also include a visit with Santa Claus, who will visit each guest and give a special gift to every child on board.
In addition to their family rides, the Holiday Express also hosts an adults-only spiked ride - the first one was on December 5th and the next will be on the 12th at 4:15 p.m. It includes the festive ride and spiked hot chocolate in a festive mug. Yum!
