Full Throttle Saloon Claims To Be The World’s Largest Biker Bar In South Dakota
Every August, Sturgis fills up with around 700,000 bikers for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. It’s a huge event, and 2020 marks its 80th anniversary. There’s one biker bar here that claims to be the world’s largest, and we have to agree — this place is huge! Check out Full Throttle Saloon:
Welcome to Full Throttle Saloon, the world's largest biker bar! Owner Michael Ballard opened the original bar in Sturgis in 1999, and after a fire a few years ago, the new location is going strong.
Step inside this huge bar, and you'll see several different bar spaces set up throughout the massive building. This place definitely has personality, and you'll love the vibe here.
The inside of this bar is full of memorabilia and vintage motorcycle parts from years past. You'll want to spend some time just checking out the incredible bar and other furnishings.
Check out Michael Ballard's line of spirits to make any party even more perfect. There's the Full Throttle 70 Proof Espresso Shot, which is great for mixed drinks or shots.
The bar also carries Margarita Shot, and S'loonshine, which comes in several different flavors. Try them all to see which you like the best, and take a bottle or two home to add to your liquor cabinet.
The 80th anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is coming up next August, and you'll want to make your reservations soon! Do you plan on visiting Full Throttle Saloon?
