Located 6 miles from Spearfish, these falls are astonishingly beautiful. The falls are a special sight year round, though most people say spring is the best time of year to visit.

Bridal Veil Falls is easy to find. It can be seen right off of US Highway 14A. This little viewing space is the perfect place to get a view of this always stunning South Dakota waterfall.

The falls get their name from their striking resemblance to Victorian lace. The rock they flow over is a stunning limestone.

This South Dakota waterfall is a favorite for SD natives and visitors alike. Each time you visit is a unique experience. Many hail these falls as "heaven on earth."

In the winter, you will commonly find ice climbers at Bridal Veil Falls. If you're not into climbing, snow shoeing near the falls is also a great way to enjoy this amazing landmark in the colder months.
