Nestled in the Black Hills National Forest is a town that's one of the most unique in the entire country.
The historic Bullock Hotel still welcomes guests. Sheriff Seth Bullock brought law and order to Deadwood, and it's said that he still haunts his hotel to this day.
The saloon where Wild Bill Hickok was shot is no longer standing, but Saloon #10 is the next closest thing. It's a bar and a museum that's filled with memorabilia from the Wild West, including the chair Wild Bill was sitting in when he was shot.
Mount Moriah Cemetery looks over Deadwood, and it's full of history. Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane and Seth Bullock are just a few of the famous folks who are buried here.
