This topsy turvy world was discovered by accident, and now has become the perfect attraction for the whole family.

In 1952, two college men were looking for the perfect spot to build their summer cabin when they came across Cosmos. By these old cabin areas, the laws of logic seemed to be flipped. After creating other demonstrations and exhibits from their findings, they began sharing the area with the public the very next year.

Now, you and the whole family can take a 40-minute tour where you’ll feel like you’re defying the laws of physics.

You can stand on the walls, and get lost in this seemingly alternate universe.

Water will flow upstream, balls roll upward, and balance doesn’t matter. If you have any balance issues, proceed with caution.

Cosmos is also home to a Geode House, where you can dig up your own geode and crack it open right there on your own with their cracking machine. These naturally formed crystals are absolutely amazing and make the perfect Black Hills souvenir.

This unique, magical attraction is truly one of a kind, and must be seen to be believed.
