The Historic Train Ride In South Dakota Will Take You Back In Time
Finding interesting things to do in South Dakota isn’t very hard, but this one activity is unlike anything else! Hop upon this original steam train and take a trip through South Dakota’s past. This trip doesn’t just feature the beautiful landscapes of our state, but you’ll learn a lot about the train itself and the areas you’ll ride through. All aboard, the 1880 Train is leaving the station!

The 1880 Train's main station is located at 222 Railroad Ave., Hill City, SD, though there is a depot in Keystone as well.
The summer season started May 7th, but don't forget to come back again in the winter for a special Holiday Express train ride!
For tickets and much more information, you can visit the 1880 Train website right here.
