Located in Midland. the 1880 Town gives visitors a glimpse into South Dakota's Old West history via 30 buildings from 1880 to 1920, thousands of relics, and hands-on activities for the kids.

After exploring, it is time for food, which is where the on-site '50s Train Diner comes in!

Like the other on-site buildings, the '50s Train Diner is historic and authentic, as the old Santa Fe train car ran from Chicago to California before eventually retiring in the 1880 Town.

When you visit the '50s Train Diner, you will experience what the railroads were like in their heyday, thanks to the friendly staff, 1950s memorabilia, and old-time lunch line.
