Oh so many great restaurants – and oh so little time! With so many incredible eateries in the Palmetto State how do you possibly narrow it down to just one at a time? Here’s some help: The Griffon is one of the quirkiest places you’ll ever eat at in South Carolina.

Established in 1996, this pub and eatery looks - well - pretty darn normal on the outside.

But one step inside the door and you'll start to realize this restaurant in Charleston's beautiful historic district isn't like the others.

For starters, there's money stapled everywhere. Real money!

It's even stapled on places that aren't a wall or ceiling.

And most of it has been written on or turned into artful "masterpieces."

Order your own "artful masterpiece" by way of The Griffon's menu. You might have guessed there are a few English items tucked in there.

Afterall, this eatery is an English Pub.

Regardless of what you order for yourself, you have to convince someone, anyone at your table to get the nachos so you can have your cake - er, fish and chips - and eat it, too...by grazing some nachos off of your neighbor's plate.

Hey, if you're lucky maybe your neighbor will be Danny McBride! Seriously though, he was here - long enough to pose for this shot anyway.

Before heading over to The Griffon, be sure to pick up some singles. No one likes feeling left out.

You'll definitely want to scribble your own message to hang on these hallowed walls, even if it's just a love note...

...or maybe you'll want to employ more of a strategy and draw your masterpiece ahead of time.
