Watch Dolphins Play From Your Window At This Seaside Inn In South Carolina
Along the coast of South Carolina there’s an island so skinny you can actually see both the ocean and the marsh on the backside at the same time. The tiny community of Pawleys Island with a year-round population about 100 people is one of the oldest resort islands on the East Coast. The small island paradise is a little more than three miles long and only a quarter of a mile wide. Among the things that make Pawleys so unique is a ban on commercial buildings – even hotels and inns.
