Open For More Than Half A Century, Dining At Tony’s Pizzalicious In South Carolina Is Always A Timeless Experience
Ready for some fun pizza facts? Over half the country, a whopping 29 states, prefer cheese pizza over all other types. Over half a million Americans work at or for a pizza place. Being that we love pizza so much in America, we have set aside October as National Pizza Month. But of course, we enjoy pizza every month, and in our state, there are so many good pizza joints to choose from! And Tony’s Pizzalicious is one that, even after all these years since it first opened in the ‘60s, has remained a timeless pizza restaurant in South Carolina.
Since 1967, Tony's has been a local institution serving delicious pizza, spaghetti, and more underneath the same charming red and white checkerboard roof and with the same mustached mascot.
South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. When not writing about the state, she may be spending time with family, relaxing by the pool, or out somewhere enjoying nature.
