Hey, It’s Christmas in South Carolina. Here’s What Santa Brought You!
Merry Christmas, South Carolina! It’s a time to count our blessings. Here’s a list to get us started.
Check out what Santa brought to the Palmetto State:

An aerial look at the southern most tip of Kiawah Island.

Looking up at Table Rock State Park.

The Gamecocks upset #1 Ranked Georgia in April to win the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) National Championship, It's the 3rd national title for the USC team. Did you even know that USC has an equestrian team? The Gamecocks are #1 in the nation. Thanks, Santa - and USC.

A look at Long Cane Creek Bridge in Sumter National Forest.

Folly Beach, SC. Sorry guys. I guess this one isn't so "secret" anymore.

Raise your hand if you're proud of these guys. Go Tigers!

Thank Santa AND Summerville for this tasty beverage.

That's right. Charleston was named by Conde' Nast Traveler as the #1 City in the U.S. and it's not the first time. It's the fifth time in a row! As thanks, you can raise your glass and toast Charleston's outgoing Mayor Joe Riley who is finishing out his tenth consecutive term (40 years) as Mayor of Charleston.

Not just one, but two zoos and several zoological parks. Check them out. This photo was taken at the Greenville Zoo.

Kayaking on Folly Beach.
Ok, so maybe Santa didn’t really bring these things. But perhaps – among other things – the Christmas season brings us a renewed appreciation for the things we already have here in the Palmetto State. We have a really amazing state with tons of things we can be thankful for this Christmas.
What things in South Carolina (besides friends and family) are you thankful for this Christmas?
