As John Lubbock said, “Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea are excellent schoolmasters, and teach us more than we can ever learn from books.” While our bookworm friends may beg to differ, we certainly do learn valuable lessons from experiences in nature that cannot be learned otherwise. And perhaps now more than ever, we have to make an intentional effort to get away from the screens and outside into nature. There are lots of ways to do this, and one of our favorites is camping! The North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina is located on Old Crane Road in Little River, a town bordering the intracoastal waterway.
The views of the waterway at this resort campground in South Carolina are beautiful, and there's a 60-slip boat dock with observation decks to enjoy watching boats going by.
As if this wasn't already the best campground resort, during the 2022 season daybeds that can be rented for the day were added to the growing list of incredible amenities. It's the perfect way to truly relax by the pool.
There's also a fenced-in playground with waterway views, a sand area for the kids to play in, a hot tub, volleyball and basketball courts, and so much more!
