Caesars Head State Park, in northern Greenville County, borders Transylvania County, North Carolina. It is a part of the 11,000-acre Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area.
Detailed trail maps are for sale at the park headquarters. The following is the list of trails offered at the park: Bill Kimball, 2.1 miles; Coldspring Branch, 2.6 miles; Coldspring Connector, 0.5-mile; Dismal 1.5 miles; Falls Creek, 1.7 miles; Frank Coggins, 1.9 miles; John Sloan, 0.9-mile; Naturaland Trust, 5.8 miles; Pinnacle Pass, 10 miles; Raven Cliff Falls, 2 miles; Rim of the Gap, 4.3 miles; and Tom Miller, 0.7-mile.
The park is named for this breathtaking overlook, The Caesars Head. It is a dramatic stone outcropping sitting on top of the Blue Ridge Escarpment.
Sing in the spring while observing 167 species on the park checklist. Participate in International Migratory Bird Day, May 14, or the annual Hawk Watch Program during hawk migration at the main overlook. Some of the amazing migrating raptors include falcons, hawks, and eagles.

The two-mile Raven Cliff Falls Trail offers a stunning view of one of South Carolina's biggest and most beautiful waterfalls.
And fishing fans, more water fun is available. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required to drop lines in the Middle Saluda River and Matthews and Julian Creeks for brown, rainbow, and brook trout.
