But you didn’t think that was ALL of them, did you? Of course not. Here are some of the best Christmas lights in South Carolina to light up your holiday and make every day seem like Christmas! Greenville Pickens Speedway is located at 3800 Calhoun Memorial Hwy, Easley, SC 29640.

A recent update from the organizers of this annual display is that they WILL open as usual. And it IS well worth the wait. The rain has caused some delay and since this is a walk-through display they just want to make sure it's not too muddy for you. Expected opening dates are 12/8 - 1/1, but you should check this link just to be sure there aren't any additional delays. It's a free event but donations are appreciated to help pay for the power bill. This is one residential lights display you do not want to miss!

5. Shadrack's Christmas - Simpsonville
*UPDATE: Shadrack's is no longer operating in South Carolina.
Shadrack's is open in Simpsonville every night from dusk until 10:00 p.m. through January 8, 2017. Wow. A light show synchronized to Christmas music, Santa's Village, train rides, a merry-go-round, and so many more festive things. Find out costs and learn more here.

Here's another private residence that pulls out all of the stops and this year is no exception. In spite of the rain this week, The Sound of Lights is up and running. It's a drive-by display that's synchronized to music. Look for lights to be on from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. through December 30, 2016, weather permitting, of course.

7. Herbaclaus Lights - Greenville
*UPDATE: This display is no longer operating.
Also known as the "Dew Christmas Lights," this upstate residential display of lights gets bigger each year and is 65,000 lights synchronized to holiday music. Fun! More information including closings due to weather.

The Lindsey's Christmas house is located at 107 Rotan St., Greer, South Carolina.
