Wonder Works opened way back in 1990 in Charleston and now has four stores in the Lowcountry.
What began as mainly a store to spark the imagination of children of all ages with science and learning kits has blossomed over the last 26 years to become an epic toy shopping experience.
Wonder Works offers more than just science kits these days. The stores are filled to the brim with all sorts of fun interactive displays. Haven't you always wanted to crawl inside a living room camping teepee?
Are you in the market for a novelty electronic, like a bluetooth speaker?
Audiobots are pretty cool and are trending this year. Or you could skip the speaker and take home the giant giraffe behind the display or the flip flop pool raft. (I'll take any of the above, by the way. I'm not picky.)
The staff at Wonder Works is always getting into or doing something fun or silly. They have a great sense of humor and are always willing to lend a hand or insight about a specific toy or game.
They're even willing to get all dressed up as Santa's elves and pose for a Facebook picture!
