Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Landrum has a population of approximately 2,500 residents.
The town was founded in 1880, and subsequently incorporated as a town in 1883. It became a city in 1912 when the population was a mere 450 residents.
Today, residents and visitors alike love this small city in Spartanburg County. For one, it delivers BIG in the way of views!
Sitting on a plateau at an elevation of just over 1,000 feet, Landrum is perfectly perched for viewing the lovely surrounding mountains.

While you're in Landrum there are some must-visit attractions. A visit to Campbell's Covered Bridge is a nostalgic step back in time. The bridge is the last of its kind in South Carolina.

All the sightseeing and shopping will surely help you work up an appetite. Landrum has many restaurants and cafes to choose from. You simply can't go wrong at the Hare and Hound right on the main street in town.
