Follow This Railroad Trail For One Of The Most Unique Hikes In South Carolina
South Carolina’s iconic Palmetto Trail travels a distance of 500 miles all the way across the Palmetto State. To make it easier to gain entry or to break up the hike into smaller segments, the trail is broken down into passages. One of those passages, the Lake Moultrie Passage, travels 26.8 miles (one way!) all the way around nearly a full side of Lake Moultrie.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.
You can learn more about the Lake Moultrie Passage of the Palmetto Trail from our friends at AllTrails.com. Or, navigate over to the official website for the entire Palmetto Trail, where you can explore even more of this 500-mile hike across South Carolina!
