Springtime in the Palmetto State is easily one of our favorite seasons. It’s nice to get outside and play a bit before the sweltering heat of summer arrives. So why not try something new and head to Bluffton for its annual Mayfest taking place the first Saturday in May? This is one spring festival in South Carolina you’ll end up adding to your bucket list year after year!
First celebrated in Germany as "Maifest," this annual festival was carried across the ocean by immigrants and eventually made its way to Bluffton, where 2022 will see the city's 42 iteration of the fun family event.
This fun, family-oriented spring festival in South Carolina takes place May 7, 2022 on Calhoun Street in Bluffton from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is free and so is the shuttle if you need to hop on that, too.The festival is produced by Bluffton Rotary. Learn more with a visit to its website, here.
