South Carolina has been home for AnneMarie since 2001. Her favorite part of the state is Lake Jocassee. An App State alumna, it's always the mountains; the lake bonus makes it heavenly. South Carolina’s beaches are among the state’s most beautiful scenery, attracting both locals and travelers from outside of the state. People enjoy relaxing and playing on the beach, as well as swimming in the ocean, surfing, fishing, and other activities. And while people are widely aware of risks such as jellyfish stings and, occasionally, sharks, there’s another reason to be cautious about the potentially dangerous nature spot in South Carolina the beaches could be.
