When you visit this farm sanctuary in South Carolina, you’ll have the opportunity to meet dozens of farm animals, each of whom has found a safe, loving place to live after being rescued from lives of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary, in Leesville, has been providing a safe haven for farm animals - from pigs to cows - since 2004.
Saved from a life of abuse and neglect, the residents at Cotton Branch are some of the lucky few. Of all animals killed each year, including dogs and cats, 98 percent are farm animals like...

Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary invites visitors to its grounds on select Open House days throughout the year. Tickets, which cost $20 for adults and are free for kids, must be purchased in advance.
During the 1.5-hour tour, you'll get to meet many of the farm's residents, including the personable pigs, goats, turkeys, cows, and chickens. You'll also be able to feed some of the animals.
While many of the older rescues live out their lives happy and loved at Cotton Branch, the younger rescues are often put up for adoption. In fact, pot belly pigs and miniature pigs are among the most popular adoptables.
