The One-Of-A-Kind Trail In South Carolina With 14 Bridges And Endless Tree Tunnels Is Quite The Hike
If there is one hike you make in your lifetime in South Carolina, the Peak to Prosperity Passage should be THE hike. It’s one segment of the larger statewide network of former rail trails known as the Palmetto Trail, which now covers an impressive 350 miles of an intended 500.
The Alston trailhead of the Peak to Prosperity Passage of The Palmetto Trail is located in Alston just across the Broad River from Peak. Two other trailheads are the Hope Station Trailhead and The Pomaria Trailhead. Learn more about the trail and get detailed directions to easily locate the three trailheads at this link on the Palmetto Conservation website.
