This Tiny Shop In South Carolina Serves Hot Dogs To Die For
Who says we need to be inside of baseball season or that you have to be at a baseball game to get an itch for a juicy, mouthwatering hot dog smothered in your favorite toppings?
In South Carolina that elusive hot dog is available all year at a tiny little shop in Mount Pleasant. This place serves hot dogs to die for!
Johnny's on Coleman Boulevard (a.k.a. Ben Sawyer Blvd) in Mt. Pleasant is located at the tippy end of the busy Royall Hardware building at the intersection of Coleman Blvd. and Chuck Dawley Blvd.
Not at all a portable hotdog "stand," Johnny's is located inside the building - but you can't get in there. Nope.
And they only have four seats that are all outside. But it seems that people really don't give a darn when it comes to Johnny's hot dogs.
This is you after you survey the situation: "No seats? NBD. I'll just stand here and inhale my dog made-to-order with seven toppings - and what's more, when I'm finished I may get back in line and order another!"
Johnny's is open six days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and also serves scrumptious breakfast biscuits all day.
For lunch you can order up a variety of sandwiches that include daily specials. The Reuben is among the most favorite choices. It's easy to see why!
If you order a sandwich, or even if you stop by at breakfast, you'd better just go ahead and order a hot dog too. (You'll thank me later.)
Johnny's has more toppings to choose from than anywhere I've ever seen.
Have them build that massive dog just the way you want it. Then devour it like you haven't eaten in at least a week. Go ahead. Stuff your face. We won't judge.
Johnny’s is located at 883 Ben Sawyer Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464. More information is available
here on their very active Facebook Page.
