The soul food at Martha Lou's has won the eatery a variety of national attention over the years, turning Martha Lou (and her food!) into an instant celebrity.
Visitors and locals alike head to the hole-in-the-wall pink eatery with Martha Lou's image crafted on the exterior for a tasty and hearty meal that features menu items such as her famous fried chicken and pork chops, plus turkey wings, fish, and chitterlings.
The inside of Martha's is every bit as friendly and inviting as the exterior. The no-frills restaurant is a come-as-you-are establishment where everyone magically feels completely at home.
Most folks can't help but order the famous fried chicken with a variety of soul food sides, like Martha's collard greens, corn bread and bread pudding. The daily menu features a number of "meats" and then you can add two, or three, sides.
