There’s A Bacon Festival Happening In South Carolina And It’s As Amazing As It Sounds

Do you perk up at the very mention of bacon? Have you ever gotten out of bed, discovered there was no bacon in the house and driven all the way to the store just so you could have bacon with your breakfast? Would you ever eat a pretzel wrapped in bacon and then dipped in chocolate? Whether you answered yes to any or all of the above is irrelevant: either way, you won’t want to miss the 5th annual Bacon Labor Day festival this year.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here:

The 5th Annual Bacon Labor Day will be held at Trailblazer Park, 235 Trailblazer Dr. (formerly Wilhelm Winter St.), Travelers Rest, SC. Admission is $3/person, a group of 4 is $10 for the whole group, and children 5 and under are free. (Sorry, you’ll need to leave the dog at home, the City of T.R. does not allow dogs into this park.) For more information, or to become a vendor, refer to the official website of Bacon Labor Day 2018.
