You’ll Never Forget A Visit To This Incredible Plantation In South Carolina
Historic plantations paint the landscape in South Carolina all the way from the coast to the Upcountry. But there’s only one plantation designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. In fact, that statement is double-true, since Wright designed more than 1,000 projects in his career, but he only designed one plantation – and it’s located in South Carolina.
The plantation occupies 326 acres just outside of Yemassee and for one weekend every two years it opens for tours.
The Wikipedia page suggests the tours benefit the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy. More information can be obtained from the Beaufort County Open Land Trust.
