Rhode Island’s a tiny piece of paradise. Whether we live here or are just visiting, we can all probably agree that this beautiful New England state is brimming with both manmade and natural beauty just about everywhere we look. Spending time on, near, and in the water in Rhode Island, after all, is natural. Summertime means cooling off in the ocean, lakes, ponds, and hidden swimming holes.

Rhode Island and seafood go hand-in-hand, but there’s so much more deliciousness that awaits, including such state-invented foods as hot wieners, coffee milk, and pizza strips.
To discover Rhode Island, we can set off on one of its hiking trails, visit a picturesque state park of which there are 22, or go for a scenic ride along Ocean Drive in Newport.
When we’re craving an island getaway, we don’t have far to go – just a ferry ride to Block Island and some of the most gorgeous views in the entire country from Mohegan Bluffs.
