An Outdoor Magical Wonderland Is Coming To Rhode Island
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Much like every other milestone this year, the upcoming holiday season will be different in Rhode Island. The good news is, it’s still going to be absolutely spectacular. The acclaimed Newport Vanderbilt mansion The Breakers is hosting their first-ever outdoor holiday event, and it’s shaping up to be amazing. Here’s why you should get your tickets.

The mansion is National Historic Landmark and open for visits all year (when current conditions allow).

It has a gross area of 125,339 square feet and a whopping 70 rooms.

The holidays are truly a magical time at the Newport Mansions, especially this one.

And this season's celebration is promising to be more spectacular than ever.

For the first time in its history, the exterior of The Breakers and its landscape will be decked out in festive lights, including 28 spruce trees strung with holiday lights along the two driveways. While this is a completely new experience, a lot of effort has been made by the same professionals who always decorate the mansion, so it's sure to be a wonderful and visually delightful experience.

Both The Breakers and The Elms are participating, and the admission cost covers access to both.
We can’t wait to see what this gorgeous outdoor adventure will look like. Learn more about Sparkling Lights at the Breakers and get your tickets here.
