When you’re ready to explore Rhode Island’s natural wonders, you’ll find plenty of hiking trails to immerse you in the great outdoors. Here’s one trail that is so beautiful that it’s impossible to fully appreciate it. Take a look!

The 242-acre Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge is located in Middletown. It was established in 1970 as a refuge for migratory birds.

Stop in at the visitor center for a trail map. You can even borrow a pair of binoculars and guidebook for bird-watching.

The visitor center is open every day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The two hiking trails include Flint Point and Ocean View Loop. Combine both for a 2.8-mile hike.
