The One Tiny Town In Rhode Island That Is A Rural Paradise

With the coast taking up most of the attention in Rhode Island, some of our small rural towns go unnoticed. Northern Rhode Island is filled with fantastic natural attractions, small restaurants, and historic sites just waiting to be visited. This one small rural town in particular is one of the most gorgeous places to visit in all of the Ocean State.

Foster is a northern town found in Providence County.

The town shares a border with Connecticut, and is surrounded by the towns of Scituate, Glocester, and West Greenwich.

While much of this part of the state is incredibly rural, Foster stands out as one of the most historic and stunning.

Foster is filled with old farm houses, fantastic hiking trails, and so much more. It also contains the nation's oldest government meeting house of its kind in the nation.
