3 Rhode Island Restaurants That Are So Much More Than Amazing Places To Eat
There are restaurants, and then there are restaurants that add that extra special something extra. Rhode Island has more than its share of wonderful restaurants, and we found some that give you an experience as well as a fantastic meal. You may not realize there are several places fun to go that offer you something to do while enjoying your meal.
1. Bravo, 123 Empire Street, Providence
Bravo in downtown Providence has a fabulous dinner menu, and also happens to host Rhode Island's longest running Mystery Theater. It's also America's 2nd longest running.
"Murder on Us" brings dinner guests into the middle of the plot.
Because the action takes place among the tables, there's not a bad seat in the house.

Guests enjoy a delicious four-course meal with salad, soup, entree, and dessert.
2. Mudville Pub, 8 Marlborough St., Newport
Mudville is a traditional Newport Irish pub with a great selection of beers on tap and a friendly atmosphere. Due to its location adjacent to Cardine's Field, a historic baseball field where the Newport Gulls play, it has a hidden surprise in back.
They have an unexpected view.
A front row seat to the ball game is waiting out back. Patrons can enjoy a pint and a meal while taking in some live baseball.
And great food.
Mudville serves up a variety of dishes like this Shrimp Po' Boys Sandwich and traditional pub fare.
3. Free Play Bar & Arcade, 182 Pine St, Providence
Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, a vintage gamers dream awaits inside.
They have an incredible array of classic arcade games.
Stranger Things fans, try your luck at Dig Dug. Free Play also has Asteroids, Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and so, so many more. Pinball and family fun games like Skee Ball are there too.
Grilled pizza, too.
