The Children’s Museum In Rhode Island That’s The Perfect Family Destination
A day out with the family really can’t be topped, especially when you’re spending time together in a place that’s just a ton of fun. We’re fortunate to have plenty of family-friendly destinations all over the state – like the Providence Children’s Museum in Rhode Island. The whole family, no matter how old you are, will have a blast.
When the whole family’s craving a bit of old-fashioned fun, spend a few hours at the Providence Children’s Museum. From exhibits to daily programs, the museum promises a fun adventure no matter when you visit.
While the museum is designed for kiddos ages one through 11, there’s still plenty of fun to be had no matter how old you are. The museum focuses on learning and creativity through play.
Time will simply melt away as the kiddos explore fun, interactive exhibits. Water Ways, for example, allows them to get their hands wet as they marvel at water, ice, and mist.
The Coming to Rhode Island exhibit gives visitors the opportunity to “meet” people from around the world to learn more about their culture and history.
When the weather’s lovely, go outdoors for a bit of play in the Children’s Garden. Both kiddos and adults will find fun, physically challenging activities while the whole family can learn more about the plants in the garden.
Timed tickets are required for admission to the Children’s Museum. The day is broken into two sessions – 9:30 – 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. You can arrive at any time during your three-hour session.
