calendar often to see what awesome events are coming up soon.
The fun doesn't stop at the door, the entire refuge is a living classroom that stretches on and on. Begin the outdoor part of your adventure by taking the easy upland walking paths that meander through a grassy meadow.
Continue onward to a 1/4-mile boardwalk that passes through the stunning marshes out to the Narragansett Bay.
Soak in the water views as you linger at the boardwalk end. With every step you take, the natural beauty is absolutely captivating.
Check out the osprey nest on your way back to the nature center. If you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of these majestic birds feeding their young.
Back at the center, stop into the nature gift shop. Find bird feeders, guide books, children's games, and much more. Each purchase directly benefits the Audubon Society of Rhode Island.
