This slender, long peninsula is a wildlife preserve and a popular public beach protected by the Watch Hill Conservancy and Fire District.

Not only is it considered an easy hike for novices and experienced outdoor enthusiasts alike, but it's packed full of stunning ocean views.

Most of the trail is basically on the beach.

You'll also be close to the iconic Watch Hill Lighthouse.

American Oystercatchers, Osprey and American Kestrel are some of the most commonly spotted birds.

They're truly mesmerizing.

This is a very narrow area and you're right on the ocean, so it's good to keep that in mind.
