It is unsurprising that the capital city with all of its resources would have the most registered sex offenders. Providence offers several group housing to sex offenders throughout Providence.

Cranston frequently complains that law changes capping the number of sex offenders allowed in each shelter are sending an excessive number straight to their shelters. That is a valid concern! Cranston has almost as many as Providence.

Because felons have difficulty finding employment, they frequently end up in low income supporting locations like Woonsocket. This poor town filled with low rent triple decker houses is number three on our list.

Pawtucket is quite a large city. Although it neighbors Providence, it has more of a tight-knit community. Unfortunately it also has 39 registered sex offenders.

Twenty registered sex offenders enjoy the same bike path and coastal sunsets that the other residents of East Providence do.

Fifteen may not seem like a significant number, but when you consider the teeny tiny 1.2 square mile size of this densely populated city, it is!

West Warwick is the only municipality that made our list that is not in Providence County. This town is made up of mostly residential properties, of which several hold sex offenders.
