From the coast to the historical landmarks, and even stunning mansions, there are just so many picturesque and breathtaking places to see. It comes as no surprise that many of the states most impressive sites would be sought out by movie producers. Fort Wetherill was featured in the Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom. The movie was released in 2012, but this state park is still as beautiful as ever.
The city of Providence has been featured in various films and television series. It's not only historically rich and lovely, but also features the river and other wondrous places. Some popular movie examples with scenes in Providence include There's Something About Mary, RIPD, and Dumb and Dumber.
