Fort Adams in Newport will transform into the chilling haunted attraction, Fortress of Nightmares, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27. There are four unique attractions at the fortress and each one is scarier than the last.

Paranormal 360 is a virtual scare. Visitors will watch a short horror movie with plenty of added special effects. Then you can virtually explore the infirmary ruins. Beware nothing is ever as it seems.

All four haunts are not recommended for children under 12, individuals with medical issues, or the faint of heart. Refunds are not given to scaredy cats too afraid to complete the Fortress of Nightmares.
