Rhode Islanders Should Expect Extra Cold And Snow This Winter According To The Farmers’ Almanac
In some ways, living in Rhode Island feels like you’re living in your own world. That being said, all it takes is one harsh winter to make us remember that we are very much a part of New England and all that goes with it. This year’s Farmers’ Almanac is predicting cold, snowy conditions will be the norm for the entire north, including our beloved Rhody. Bundle up and prepare for snow.

It can get quite cold in the Ocean State—we know that. However, temperatures and snowfall vary wildly from year to year.

And while the traditional almanac isn't always entirely accurate, the fact that it still exists proves there is a method to the madness.

While the two almanacs often use different predictions and methods, their conclusions sometimes align. This year, they seem to be in agreement.

The good news is that it's set to be "seasonably cold," which means we should experience average temperatures.

While Boston and Washington D.C. might see the highest snowfall, Rhode Island certainly wouldn't be spared from it.

That being said, we would rather said snow not hinder our lives, so being informed of the predictions is always helpful.
