Visiting This One Place In Rhode Island Is Like Experiencing A Dream
Rhode Island has no shortage of magical places to escape to. From our wildlife refuges, to our beaches, to our amazing state parks, the list just goes on and on for beautiful nature sites. There are some, however, that tend to stick out among the rest. Many Rhode Islanders would agree that visiting Beaver Tail State Park in Jamestown is like walking in to a beautiful dream, so we looked to Flickr to put together the most breathtaking photos we could find.

Beavertail State Park is made up of Federal Surplus Land and offers a blend of breathtaking scenic views, hiking trails, and more!

There are four lookout points to take in the beauty of the sea from your car, but many prefer to explore the rocky landscape on foot.

The historical lighthouse found in the park was built in 1749 and is one of the most magnificent in state. It also operates as a museum where you can learn all sorts of fascinating facts to impress your friends with later.

Right next to the lighthouse is also a small aquarium where you can get to know the local aquatic life.

The diversity of the landscape also offers amazing hikes and perfect places to lay in the sun and enjoy an unforgettable picnic.

Beavertail also offers some of the best salt water fishing in the state and an amazing naturalist program.

If you haven't watched the sunset at Beavertail yet, you should definitely put it on your list of amazing things to do this summer.
