Although it's less than 10 miles from the hustle and bustle of big city life in Providence, the nature preserve will leave you feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere.
Ample parking is available on Sherman Avenue, just next to the clubhouse for the Fairlawn Golf Course. If the parking lot is full, parking in the golf course's lot is permitted.
Bring your pup along, as long as he remains leashed, for your journey along one of the scenic trails. The Blue and Yellow Trail, which scores an easy rating, clocks in at just 2.7 miles.
